On 24 October 2019 the team from Miercurea Ciuc, Romania participated on the “Everyday Creativity Fair and Conference” organized within the Everyday Creativity Erasmus+ project by the Spektrum Educational Centre, the József Attila Primary School in Miercurea Ciuc together with The School Inspectorate of Harghita County and the Association of the Hungarian Teachers in Romania.
The event was held in the cinema in Miercurea Ciuc and it meant to share best practices and teaching experiences of creative teachers and creative schools.
The Sapientia team took part in the Creativity Fair where we presented the Culture & Languages for All project to teachers participating in the conference. Teachers were presented the learning platform (esolams.si/culture), they were given an overview of the country modules and topics, and they could also try out some of the exercises.
Participants congratulated us for the work done; they liked the topics related to intangible cultural heritage together with the stories and tasks created. They are looking forward to trying out the modules. They also said that even if the modules are targeted at adult learners, they can use them in high school as well because they have units built around culture and cultural differences.
