On 22nd November 2019, the team of Sapientia University from Miercurea Ciuc, Romania participated on the “Kutassunk Együtt!” (Let’s Do Research Together) Scientific Conference organized by Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania, Faculty of Economics, Socio-Human Sciences and Engineering, Miercurea Ciuc.
The event was held at the campus from Miercurea Ciuc, and it gathered teachers who hold a PhD and systematically carry out scientific research, yet many of whom do not work at universities.
The Sapientia team presented the Culture & Languages for All project to those participating at the conference. First of all, the learning platform (esolams.si/culture) was presented, as well as an overview of the country modules and topics chosen by the different partner institutions. The participants of the conference also caught a glimpse of some of the exercises.
Those who attended the presentation liked very much the idea of teaching languages through addressing the topic of the intangible cultural heritage of the countries involved, as well as resemblances and differences between various European cultures.
