On 8 October 2020 the presentation of our project “Cultural knowledge and language competences as a means to develop the 21st century skills“ was carried out for the employees of the NGO Institute for tourism and development in Čentiba. The employees were presented the new project, the project partners, who the project is meant for and the e-learning platform. They were shown the structure and tasks of the modules and how the system evaluates the tasks and gives feedback. Because the modules are available in ten languages we looked at the modules in Slovenian, German and Hungarian. The employees liked the idea of testing their language skills while learning something new about cultural heritage of their own nation or another nation. The possibility of improving ICT skills is also important they said. They also found that the platform should not be a tool for adult learners only; it should also be used in primary, secondary and higher education levels.
