From the beginning until the middle of October 2020 module piloting on our created e-platform was carried out by first year students of the program economist.
Full-time students took part in the piloting of the materials. First of all I presented them the project and the e-platform as well as the purpose of the testing. Then I showed them some tasks and how to solve them. I asked them to test at least one module in Slovenian as they wanted to try other languages as well. some of them tried to solve modules in Croatian or German. Quite a lot also tried the English version. 13 students took part in the piloting.
Most of the students liked the modules and tasks, mainly reading and vocabulary tasks so they could test their knowledge. They admitted they had learned something new by doing these tasks. They were not really fond of F2F or pair/group work, especially if they had to search the internet. They felt they had to do this in their daily life or for their study too often. However, they liked the idea of learning something new about similar or other cultures. They gave more detailed opinions in the questionnaires.
